Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen Wiki

A Class is a common method of arbitrating the capabilities of different player characters in Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen. A character class aggregates several abilities and aptitudes, and may also detail aspects of background and social standing, or impose behavior restrictions. Classes may be considered to represent archetypes, or specific careers.

Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen's use of a class based system entails having these classes fulfilling roles; especially in group and raid contexts. There will also be opportunities to focus each class on more specific and specialized roles, especially at higher levels. Classes fulfill distinct roles which will create vital interdependence between players, leading to a fulfilling social and cooperative experience.

Pantheon will use a quaternity system of roles: (This means there are four distinct roles available.)

1. Tank (Examples: Warrior, Paladin, Dire Lord)

2. Healer (Examples: Cleric, Druid, Shaman)

3. DPS (defined either as Melee or Ranged; sometimes called Damage Dealers) (Examples: Rogue, Ranger, Wizard)

4. Crowd Control (Examples: Enchanter, Bard)

Classes for Launch

There are 12 classes proposed for launch: Cleric, Dire Lord, Druid, Enchanter, Monk, Paladin. Ranger, Rogue, Shaman, Summoner, Warrior, Wizard

In the Frail Age, communion with Celestials is unheard of. The Cleric must bind to ancient Tomes containing the last vestiges of light from when the Celestials had drawn near. Paladin

Once a Cleric, the Paladin has a call transcending the customs of the Cleric Order. Led by her convictions, she sets off to carry out her own righteous judgment. Warrior

The Warrior seemingly defies limits of physical strength, ability and resilience. However, not content with fortitude alone, he also refines his mind, becoming a master strategist in battle.
Dire Lord

Dire Lord

Legends speak of Dire Lords capable of mastering the crippling power of fear, with some able to manipulate the ‘essence’ of living things--even their very blood. Ranger

In untamed regions, the Ranger is a versatile and ferocious warrior, united with the land and animals he communes with. Rogue

The treacherous Rogue is far more than a trickster. With her daggers, she is a ruinous force that smiles at the dark places and unravels her enemies with terrifying efficiency.

Through longstanding discipline and unwavering obedience to ancient teachings, the Monk wields their mind and body as a devastating, holistic weapon against their enemies. Summoner

The Summoner has developed a powerful arcane command to conjure sustenance, tools, barricades, weaponry, even fantastic creatures of incredible strength...all of this at her whim. Enchanter

Through a single word, the Enchanter can turn the intent of an enemy and break even the strongest of wills into submission.

There are none that exist who have so obsessively studied the enigmatic and destructive nature of the arcane. While many Wizards are driven mad with this knowledge, often destroying themselves through lack of control, those who emerge stable under the weight of such power wield a force barely imaginable in awe and effect. Druid

At its core, the Druid is a light-armored mystic who is able to draw out aspects of the natural world and imbue them into other living things or project them into their surroundings. But there is a fine line they must walk as they gaze ever-deeper into the secrets of Terminus. The Druids who learn to master these revelations are rumored to have incredible restorative abilities, while wielding the power to command the weather itself. Surely, there is rarely a display as awe-filled as this kind of fury when kindled. Shaman

It is rumored that Shamans live in every age at once. It is a second sight, allowing them to sense the threads of energy woven through Terminus’ past. It is this unique gift that allow Shamans to discern the ancestry of friend or foe, wielding this knowledge in the form of powerful Boons - or frightful Banes.
