A Class is a common method of arbitrating the capabilities of different player characters in Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen. A character class aggregates several abilities and aptitudes, and may also detail aspects of background and social standing, or impose behavior restrictions. Classes may be considered to represent archetypes, or specific careers.
Roles
Pantheon uses a quaternity system of roles: (This means there are four distinct roles available.)
1. Tank (Examples: Warrior, Paladin, Dire Lord)
2. Healer (Examples: Cleric, Druid, Shaman)
3. DPS (defined either as physical or magical; aka Damage) (Examples: Rogue, Ranger, Wizard)
4. Crowd Control (Examples: Enchanter)
Classes for Launch
There are 12 classes proposed for launch: Cleric, Dire Lord, Druid, Enchanter, Monk, Paladin. Ranger, Rogue, Shaman, Summoner, Warrior, Wizard

There are 2 classes that are not yet available.
They are proposed to be available either at around launch or at some point after: Bard, Necromancer
