Alchemist is a Crafting profession. Alchemists create potions which offer a variety of buffs as well as flasks that can be thrown at enemies to apply debuffs. Alchemy is one of two "consumable" oriented professions, along with Provisioner.

There are two planned specializations for Alchemists which are, as of yet, unnamed.

Specialization #1

This specialization focuses on the study and creation of Toxins.

Specialization #2

This specialization focuses on the study and creation of Elixirs

Guide

The first point of the Alchemy skill is unlocked by talking to Hailey Wren (Alchemist) in Availia. She offers the quest (Crafting Profession) Learning Alchemy. By giving her a Crafting Apprenticeship Token you complete the quest and receive the skill point.
